Ship Management

Ship management involves marine operations, technical management of vessels, ship supplies and crewing which are undertaken by PSM Perkapalan Sdn Bhd (PPSB), a wholly-owned subsidiary of MBC.

PPSB maintains a pool of seafarers, for the various different vessels types that they manage, giving them flexibility in planning crew changes.

PPSB has been awarded the ISO 14001:2004 certification, an internationally recognized standard for Environmental Management System. The drive to create a culture towards safety, health and environmental protection is encapsulated in PPSB's Safety and Environmental Protection Policy.

The MBC Group derives benefits from its relationship with Pacific Carriers Limited including economies of scale for its procurement, supplies, spares, stores and lubricants for its vessels which can be obtained at competitive costing from global networking.
